Elina Poubelle’s practice explores relationships between people and places. She creates assemblages and sculptural installations that work with moments of time and temporal events, typically alongside writing.

; like the bouquet of found flowers sitting on your bedside table that she brought home after her walk, stuck in the cleaned out tomato soup can you two ate last night. There’s boganvillia, some lavender and rosemary, some tall grass, a rusty fork and a stick of gum leaves. Over days the flowers bloom, the leaves fall, they all begin to wilt and eventually get removed.
